Alycia Williams, MS, LPC Midtown Family Therapy - Individual, Couple and Family Therapy
I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology in 1993 and a Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Oklahoma State University in 1997.  Following graduate school, I worked in Chicago, Illinois, where I practiced therapy at an adolescent residential treatment facility.  During that time I helped troubled adolescents work on issues including trauma, abuse, learning disabilities, and social skills.  I also worked with their families on creating healthy boundaries, healing past abuse and reunifying the family.  Upon returning to Oklahoma in 2000, I began working as an affiliate therapist at Family and Children's Services.  My work at F&CS has given me experience in working with hundreds of families and individuals in the Tulsa area

My professional experiences have given me the opportunity to work with individuals, families and couples on a wide variety of issues.  In addition, I have facilitated therapy groups focusing on couples communication, sexual abuse recovery, and child/teen social skills and anger management.   I have extensive experience with couple relationships, trauma, depression, anxiety, crisis management, parenting and family relationship issues.  I am also certified to perform comprehensive home studies for private adoptions.

I reside in Tulsa with my husband of 16 years and our 2 sons.
